We felt as though our script lacked content, and although we were trying to perceive mystery there was too much of a lack of definition. Therefore we decided to alter our dialogue by adding in some more interaction between the boyfriend and Rose, trying to make their interaction and the dialogue more natural and realistic. We wanted to create more of a conversation, rather than a string of statements.
J: You look beautiful
R: (smiles) I didn't hear you come in?
J: Well, it is getting pretty late.. we should probably get going..
R: I'm nearly ready, just give me a minute.
J: (checks watch, looks nervous)
R: (turns around) it's going to be fine
J: You don't know my father. Everything has got to be perfect with him..
R: (hugs him) Oh, it will be.
